There’s no shortage of remarkable ideas, what’s missing is the will to execute them – Seth Godin
I am writing about this quote that is very close in meaning to the last 3 quotes i wrote about:
The best way to succeed in business, is to be in business.
The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.
Ideas are worthless. Execution is everything.
The quote by Seth Godin:
There’s no shortage of remarkable ideas, what’s missing is the will to execute themSeth Godin
This quote by Seth Godin is slightly different than the previous ones, especially the last 2 ones. The difference is that this quote is less aggressive towards the idea/ dream per se, but rather trying to persuade the entrepreneur to pursue the dream. The quote acknowledges that ideas can be remarkable, but states that they need to be executed to be of value. In other words great ideas are common, but most are not executed.
The essence of the quote is that talk is cheap & ideas are a dime a dozen!
About the quote author Seth Godin : Writer and former dotcom businessman who sold his startup to yahoo for $30 million.
When there is no will to execute your project, remember, there is always someone that can execute the project or idea for you :
