This quote is so true and so wrong at the same time, and let me explain why.
First this quote is very similar to a quote by Scott Adams : Ideas are worthless. Execution is everything
It is also similar to a quote by Mark Twain : The secret of getting ahead is getting started
Thus we are going back to the same approach : You should do , not dream … You should execute and not plan
The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamerNolan Bushnell
My issue with this quote is 1 word, only 1 word. The word is “only“
The quote will make much more sense if it was: The true entrepreneur is a doer, not only a dreamer.
Because to be able to launch a business, any entrepreneur should think it through, should dream it, before executing it!
And this dreaming part can take a day or even 10 years … Thus dreamers can be entrepreneurs too!
