So what is a customer profile?

In simple terms, a customer profile, or a consumer profile is a description of a typical or ideal customer for one’s business.

In less simple terms, a customer profile, is a detailed description of your current customers.
For this description, you precise the demographic data (such as age, gender, race, income, education, employment, and specific geographic locations). Then, you identify the purchasing behaviors, pain points, and even psychographic data (values, attitudes, interests and personality traits).
This customer profile is created with the intent of targeting similar customers in your sales and marketing campaigns.
