Difference Between Persistence and Perseverance

Persistence and perseverance are two words that are often used together. These words have very similar meanings, and are often invoked when the subject of the content is success or entrepreneurship.
Persistence and perseverance have a huge role in success, and can validate the success mindset.
Believing you can do it is half the battle.

However these 2 words are different, they have a small nuanced difference, and that is why we see them often both mentioned. If they were synonyms, we would only see one mentioned.

Persistence is the choice to continue something, to be disciplined, stubborn, and continue in spite of difficulty and opposition. It is a struggle to achieve the goal set.

Perseverance is a lot like persistence, in the sense that you continue in spite of difficulty and opposition. But perseverance takes things up a notch. It is persisting despite setbacks, failure and hardship. Persistence is rare but perseverance is much more rare.
