Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. – Henry Ford

It is really rare to find an entrepreneur that hasn’t failed. It is also rare to find a successful first time entrepreneur. Most entrepreneurs fail a couple of times before finally hitting the jackpot with a successful business or startup. In all honesty, this puts our feet back on the ground. As most first time entrepreneurs are arrogant, and often disconnected from reality, failure does give us a reality check.

I have personally failed so many projects, that i can barely remember them anymore, i did however get few successes as well. I do feel that failure have contributed to my entrepreneurship vision much more than success.

Let’s jump to the quote:

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

– Henry Ford

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again

If you do not fail, you will not stop doing what you are doing.
If you have a minimal success , you will not stop doing what you are doing. You need to feel the failure to take action.
Usually when faced with a failure, an entrepreneur wraps up the project and cuts losses.
If the project however is not a failure, if it is like the many businesses that exist these days, “pays the expenses and a small salary”, the entrepreneur will not just leave it.
A project is like a baby, only a failure can convince the business man to leave this project and start a new one.

This time more intelligently

Failure have an important role educating entrepreneurs. By failing, you learn what to avoid, and what to emphasis on. Thus when beginning again a new business, this time less mistakes will be done.
