My Opinion:
The quote is 100% spot on, for any small business or small entrepreneur, but i have reservations.
First, we need to acknowledge that the path of entrepreneurship is full of failures and mistakes, and that an entrepreneur is very lucky if he hasn’t encountered any during his path. This does not mean that failure is the end, entrepreneurs usually, fail and fail, and then fail some more, before succeeding. Thus as a business person, you should expect to fail a bit, especially at the beginning of a business venture, you might even fail in the middle (after becoming a big business). Of course you can also fail at the end, but you should never entertain the idea, because once you decide it’s over, then it will be indeed over.
My reservations about the quote:
The quote itself is valuable, but given that, it is said by the CEO of a multilevel marketing product company, i am not sure if the quote come from business insight, or hidden intentions. As obviously with these kind of companies, their agent success is not guaranteed, and as the companies make money from agents subscriptions, they would like to keep them onboard as long as possible… Thus such quote in these specific cases can be deceptive.
