Plans are nothing… Planning is everything – Dwight D. Eisenhower

Every year, around new year, i start planning my objectives for the coming year, millions of other individuals do the same. Eisenhower had something to say about planning.
Dwight David Eisenhower, was an American military officer and served as the 34th president of the United States. During World War II, he was Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe and achieved the five-star rank as General of the Army.

Plans are nothing… Planning is everything.

Plans might work or not, the specific plans may not always unfold as intended. External factors, unexpected events, or changing circumstances can render initial plans obsolete or impractical.. While specific plans may need adjustment, the process of planning is valuable because it helps you become more adaptable for different eventualities. Planning involves thinking through potential scenarios, considering alternatives, and preparing for various outcomes.

There are usually a lot of thought, analysis, and preparation that go into the planning process, unlike the rigid plans themselves.

The process of planning, allows you to grow, and to be prepared for the unexpected.
