My least favorite business tycoon, his real name Ma Yun, for us known as Jack Ma. Ma is not really about innovation, he just copies Amazon and other international companies. Taking advantage of the ban on many western tech companies in China on one hand and China being the factory of the word on the other hand, Ma used the unfair advantage that propelled his business empire.

The quote applies to anything, not only e-commerce, or at least a part of the quote does. I will split the quote, e-commerce in mind.
- Keep doing what you are doing right now : Wrong, you need to always do A\B testing, and focus on what works, while always doing more testing.
- With passion, to keep it up: This is the important part of the quote, you need to keep the passion in what you do, and i agree 100%. And that is really tough when companies grow.
I think the quote was said in a not so clear way, and that Ma meant that the most important thing, is to keep passion and carry on doing the things that with time might become boring to you.
